It has been a while since the last update. Life has been a little crazy here as we move into summer time. The pool is open and the kids are actually enjoying being in the water. Anthony is having a blast in the pool. Kat is doing very well with the water. I am amazed at how much she has changed since last summer with the pool. Ryan is still playing baseball. He is on a local tournament team and the Piscataway Williamsport team. We have 15 games over the next 2 weeks or so.

The big news. My 19 and 17 year old came to visit. It was pretty cool. We haven't had contact in quite a few years due to stuff we will not discuss here. Sam (aka Samantha) is 19, graduated from High School and had joined the Alabama National Guard. Andy is 17 and hopefully will finish high school soon. They looked good and seemed to a couple of ok kids. We took them to NY city for a tour of the sights. We went on Father's day and everybody had a great time. Andy is 6'2", big boy. They thought that they would stand out because they were up from Alabama, they soon discovered that there are many others in NY that stand out more then a couple of southern kids. It was funny. We did all the tourist stuff. Ferry ride around the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, ate a little street vendor food, haggled with the street vendors, bought a rolex. I think they had a good time. Anthony and Ryan really loved hanging out with them, that was way cool.

Kat is starting with a new OT. I hope it works for her. He is willing to work with Wendy over the phone when needed, that is a good sign. We continue to struggle with Kat and her Kat'isms. Sometimes I wonder about that girl. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I, of course, want to know now! She has made progress in many areas. We can, however make it through meals, little outings, doctor visits and a couple of trips to Home Depot without a big to do. This is GREAT progress. Kat is still on an earning level system. We are also starting an education regiment of some basic tracing letters and coloring in the lines. I signed up at www.edhelper.com for the K-12 material. It is a pretty cool site. We'll keep you posted on her progress.

Anthony is Anthony. He is growing in leaps and bounds. He loves being in the pool. He loves food, playing, reading, hanging out. I noticed that he remembers people's name's and call's them by their name. Kat does not do this. It would seem that people are real to Anthony. He loves tonka trucks and routine. Every night after bath, he comes down the hallway and says "Want to play with my tonka trucks". I get the same truck every time as does he. It is pretty funny. He also has been hanging out with another 2 year old that lives behind us. They have been getting together about once a week and they have a blast. His name is Kevin. T gets so excited when he knows that we are going to go see Kevin. They get along like 2 2 year olds.

Ann is doing well. She is working and I am not. She just had another birthday celebration. I make another chocolate chip cookie cake, seems to be all the rave here.  Work is work, she has gotten a lot busier since having gone back full time.  It has been a little stressful for her but she seems to be keeping to together.  I have settled in to the Stay at Home Dad routine. Laundry, dishes, dinner, activities, homework, cleaning, some shopping. It is not too bad. I do miss seeing grown up's on a regular basis but all in all it is good. The kids seem to be doing well with me home all the time.  Looking for fillers can sometimes get a little hectic but we are managing.

Ryan is hanging in there. He has alot of baseball to play to he will be on vacation and when he gets back, it will be football time. School is out and he is just enjoying his summer. Not too much to report on with him. We did finish up our regular baseball season 8 and 8 and I removed the Pirates web site.

Tyler will be coming out for a visit soon. He will be staying for about 3 weeks. I am looking forward to it. Haven't seen him in a while. He recently moved to a new neighborhood and is settling in, making new friends and such. I will update you on him after he comes for a visit.

It has been a little crazy lately with life happening. Baseball, Kids, work, visitors, job change etc. We are managing to keep the ship righted and everybody afloat.
